Speedy review... Eyeball Highlighter in Eye Scream, by I ๐Ÿ’— Revolution.

Welcome  to part II of speedy reviews on the three new Halloween themed highlighters by I๐Ÿ’— Revolution.

I was curious to find out how the formula compares to Revolution's skull Halloween highlighters of previous years, so I've been spending the past few weeks trying them all out, and now want to share my thoughts on them one by one...

Eye Scream is a ice white-with-blue-shift shade.  The first eyeball highlighter I tested (Terrif-eye) is made to look best on medium to dark skintones, and Eye Scream is the fair to light option - it's quite cool and I think it'd look ashy on anyone with a tan or deeper skin.

Terrif-eye didn't have a shifting effect [at least it doesn't appear to have one on my skin- it is too dark for me though, so it may not reach it's full effect on me], so I knew I'd enjoy this one more immediately.

The formulation for this shade seems softer than the formula for Terrif-eye and much more in tune with the bestselling I ๐Ÿ’— Revolution heart-boxed highlighters - it's not far off from the feel of Revolution highlighters.

It wears well; it will last all day, with minimal fade.

My final thoughts are partly the same for this, as they were with the other highlighter: I own better formulations from the brand, but this is affordable, works well and the packaging is fantastic & collectible, so is well worth checking out. I'll actually continue to use this during autumn/winter, as I have a weakness for icy highlighters and also lie that this is the more vivid out of the two eyeball highlighters I've reviewed so far.

The Eye Scream highlighter is £5, and is available on Revolution and superdrug.
