What better way to highlight these still-available-to-buy-at-time-of-writing limited edition palettes, than to show how well they work together?
I mainly focus on fragrances nowadays, but dip my toes into cosmetics, skincare, haircare, books and music.

Happy 10th Anniversary KvD Beauty, let's celebrate with a review for the 10th Anniversary highlighter...
As the UK only gets a small portion of KvD's limited edition items to put on sale, I'm not going to blather on and just jump straight into the interesting stuff...

Happy 10th Anniversary KvD Beauty, let's celebrate with a review for the 10th Anniversary eyeshadow palette...
The 10th Anniversary collection arrived to Debenhams a short while ago, so I jumped straight on the eyeshadow palette and started using it on an almost daily basis, gathering my thoughts for a review. As the UK only gets a small portion of KvD's limited edition items to put on sale, I'm not going to blather on and just jump straight into the interesting stuff...

Is it a goody-goody? Saint edp by Kat Von D...
Since I've reviewed two Kat Von D eyeshadow palettes as being great gifting products, I thought that I'd follow them up by looking at one of her re-released perfumes. [if you're wondering; I find Sinner too strong & migraine inducing, so I can't do a decent review for it as the scent notes overwhelm me]
For this 'great Christmas gift idea' product we need to take a walk down memory lane; it was 2009 and I went into a Sephora whilst on my first visit to NYC, which is where I first encountered a fantastic cosmetics brand called Kat Von D Beauty. As well as making the lipstick shade that I still love today, they also made two perfumes; Saint and Sinner, one of which, Saint [see above for original packaging] I Ioved and bought immediately. Over the next few years I would always pick up a bottle or roller ball pen and sample the other two perfumes that followed Saint and Sinner [Poetica & Adora] when I went to the US, until the time came that when I went on one of my trips, I found that the perfumes had all been discontinued.

Back then I think that the perfumes had been US/Canada only releases only, because I never saw them anywhere else - not even eBay, and I eventually gave up looking. Fast forward to August 2017; both Saint and Sinner have been re-released in stunning new bottles, and are available on the Debenhams site [and in selected stores].
So lets dive in and see if Saint is as good as I remembered.....

Gonna find out if you were naughty or nice; the Saint + Sinner eyeshadow palette, by Kat Von D...
"Honor the two sides in all of us with the ultimate collection of eyeshadows inspired by the kaleidoscopic stained glass windows of Old World Gothic cathedrals. Kat Von D’s holiday collection celebrates the return of her beloved, bestselling Saint + Sinner fragrance collection."
I started stalking the Debenhams site after they released the The Shade + Light Glimmer eye contour palette early and without warning, so when the Saint + Sinner palette dropped a fortnight ago, I instantly placed my order.
So now I've had nearly two weeks to play with the palette, my review for my only limited-edition-for-Christmas makeup purchase is here.

I Am... The Alchemist (palette by Kat Von D)...
The Alchemist palette wasn't released in the UK until a few days ago, but the Debenhams site had a 24 hour pre-sale for it a fortnight before that - which is when I got mine - so I've had enough time to play around with it for a decent review, and share my verdict.
I don't want to ramble on, and want to dive into my reviews and photos; this product has spent eight years in development and has been on sale in other parts of the world for over five months now, so let's finally get round to trying it for ourselves...

WowEveryday: the MetalMatte eyeshadow palette by Kat Von D...
Before I even start my review, I'll point out that the MetalMatte palette is £50 [£14 more expensive when compared to her other eyeshadow palettes that are being sold for £36], which may put some people off. However you are getting more shadows than is usually included in her palettes; thirteen matte shadows, and nine metal crush shades which sell for £16 individually.
I think that this is their Christmas offering this year for UK customers (the company does have both another palette of their own [Alchemy] and a collaboration palette with Too Faced [Better Together] coming in December for US/Canadian customers, but I don't think they'll be released this year for international customers)...
Ready to jump in, and see what we're getting for our money?

Will this become the power of love? [The Power Of Makeup By NikkieTutorials eye & cheek palette - By Too Faced]...
This is a palette I picked up in August after it's US release. I hadn't been planning to get it as I thought that it looked boring, but all of the bigger YouTube 'Beauty Gurus' were raving over how great is was. So you'll all know how the story goes from here; I believed them, and panicking over missing out on the magical palette, I went to eBay and bought a US-bought palette for £60.
I've only just realised that you can now buy The Power Of Makeup palette on the Debenhams site over here [for £48], so I want to give UK customers an honest opinion and unedited swatches before they part with their money...

Heads Up: the Ulta-exclusive Too Faced Merry Macarons palette is in Debenhams stores...
Just a quick post to let everyone know that the Too Faced eyeshadow palette - Merry Macarons - that is exclusive to Ulta cosmetic stores in America, can actually be found in Debenham stores over here - so no need to pay those sky-high prices on eBay, Amazon and such.
My local Debenhams is small and doesn't stock Too Faced, and the palette has only just been added to their site in the last day, so it was a lovely surprise when I went to a larger store recently and saw it. Even better is the £28 price tag, which makes this palette £18 cheaper than the Grande Hotel Cafe palette that is also available for £46 [it's vanished from the site, but there were loads in the store I went to].Keep on reading for swatches and my first impressions...
Getting lippie; Lip Wow in Ready To Wear by Bagsy...
The brand's Wow Lip's remind me of Tarte's Lip Surgences and Revlon's Kissable Balm Stain's, but these are better than both brands; unlike the Lip Surgence's these don't melt in the tube and the caps don't crack, making a mess in my bags. And Revlon isn't cruelty free, and I'm working on replacing my makeup by brands that are involved with animal cruelty with more ethical options.
