Feeling on top of it with The Sassy One, by Pretty Little Palettes...

Today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts and a few demos from another eyeshadow palette from indie brand Pretty Little Palettes, and this time I'm going into... neutral territory [gasp].

I haven't bought a neutral palette for... I'm not sure - the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette [I gave it away as I didn't use it very often] was the last one, I think, as I need more pops of colour in palettes, for them to be able to hold my interest. With that in mind, lets see whatc [if anything] The Sassy One can do for me...

Catch the Wave edp [by Hollister]...

Are you looking for an aquatic fragrance for the spring and summer seasons? Don't look at the fragrance with an aquatic name and box with an image of the pacific ocean on - the inspiration for the Wave perfume is actually the Californian sunset, which makes me question why the sky on the box seems to be of a sunrise, with calm pastel shades...

I admit that I only bought Wave as when you got the £22 30ml bottle in The Perfume Shop, you also got a £17 baseball cap free; since I get migraines and several headaches per week, I'm fond of covering my head & shielding my eyes in warmer weather to ward off the sun, and I quite fancied a new cap for the new year...

Shall we see how well this impulsive blind buy has gone?

Speedy review: Indi edp by Katy Perry...

When I read that the latest Coty/Katy Perry fragrance contains five different tones of musk accords I was instantly turned off, as musk is a scent note that I'm sensitive to and can find it to be rather sickly if too heavy. However I later read that Indi also contains white tea and cedar, so I became intrigued enough by it to pick up a reduced Christmas gift-set online last month, as no stores near me carry it.

Were my first dismissals right and I wasted my money? Was I wrong at first and now have a new fragrance to enjoy? Time to find out...
