As much as I usually enjoy making my own colour stories using different shades and brands together for different combinations every time that I wear makeup, I admit that there  are days when I do want to put on 'a little something', but am too rushed or lazy to put in the brain power.

Will this compact deliver a quick & easy look, that still provides that suitable touch of glam?

Juicy K [reviewing Citrus | 08, by Kayali [Huda Beauty]].

Kayali = Arabic for "my imagination"

A contemporary twist of innovation, CITRUS | 08 subverts olfactory expectations. Sparkling citrus notes of Italian Bergamot and Pink Grapefruit mingle with Rhubarb, Blackcurrant and Pink Pepper. Immaculate floral chords of Rose Centifolia and Rose Damascena from Bulgaria lie at its heart. A lingering veil of Musk, Tonka and mystical Oakmoss grounds the hypnotic scent in nature - Huda's blog.

I really like every Huda Beauty product I have and I'm really into having a nice fragrance collection, so I went into the exploration of the Kayali perfume range with very high expectations and now it's time for me to deliver my opinions...

Second chances [reviewing the India Sun Sun Stalk'r bronzer, by Fenty Beauty]

As we're going from winter to spring this month, I wanted to look for a barely-there bronzer to add a subtle hint of glow to my corpse-like complexion and when I think barely-there, I remember my 'did you apply any' thoughts when I went to Harvey Nichols for a wear test of the Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r bronzer in the shade India Sun. The shade didn't wow me, however I remember the formula feeling nice on my skin.

Now that I know not to trust the lighting in Harvey Nichols (the next deepest shade - Shady Biz - looked great in the store lighting, but was too dark when I got home & opened the packaging) and had loads of unspent points on my Boots card to splurge with, I wanted to give India Sun another chance to impress me.

Has this turned out to be a hidden gem, or am I an idiot who doesn't know when to give up?

EOTD; palette bingo with the Jaclyn Hill palette, by Morphe.

Palette bingo = where you pick an eyeshadow palette and number the shades in it. You then use a random number generator app to choose five numbers [as bingo has five letters], and you then use the corresponding shades in the palette for your look.

Today I'm doing the palette bingo with the Jaclyn Hill palette, that I recently mentioned that I planned on doing: I haven't used the palette for a while and am trying to get back into it [it would have been decluttered by now, if it wasn't so grubby-looking that I was embarrassed to give it away], so am looking forward to seeing which shades I'll end up with, as I want some fresh ideas.

The numbers I got from the random number generator are 6 (Sissy), 11 (Pukey), 20 (Buns), 26 (24/7) and 29 (Pool Party)...
