EOTD: the Vegan Love eyeshadow palette, by Kat Von D Beauty...

Today I'm bringing out the Vegan Love eyeshadow palette for another performance...

There's no big story to go along with today's post; I was just when looking back on my original review and I didn't think my look photo showing the following shades really allowed them to shine, so I wanted to do another look that showcases them to their best potential...

Revolution Beauty's alias is Makeup Obsession... And they've joined the collaboration game too [reviewing the x Belle Jorden eyeshadow palette].

"Obsession have teamed up with beauty vlogger Belle Jorden to create a must-have eyeshadow palette and lip gloss collection. Known for her girly but edgy makeup looks, cute tattoos and strident cruelty-free stance, Belle has hand-picked every shade to create the ultimate go-to collection.

The Obsession x Belle Jorden Eyeshadow Palette features 16 stunning in a versatile mix of hues that you’ll use every single day. Based around warm toned neutrals, this palette features seven matte shades, six shimmer shades and two matte shades infused with golden glitter flecks"

Obsession Beauty [aka Makeup Obsession] is a Boots-exclusive brand, that I never really paid much attention to before their image revamp and  this launch late last year; I saw the Belle Jorden palette on the Revolution Beauty Instagram page, which is when I realized that Obsession is actually part of the Revolution umbrella, like I 💓 Revolution and Revolution Pro.

I'd never heard of Belle Jorden before [no offence to her - I'm 35 & focus on people my age and above on YouTube], but as I enjoy Revolution's products I figured that I'd probably enjoy these too, so when Boots had a 3-for-2 offer on cosmetics in the new year, I picked this palette up.

Lets find out if Obsession can hold it's own against parent-company Revolution...

The Bargain Hunter: The £5 eye & cheek palette [the Double Take eye & face palette by P.S... Beauty].

Urban Decay's Backtalk eye and cheek palette is something that had been on my wishlist since it was released, but I kept putting of getting it as other things I wanted/needed pushed it further down the list, then it was discontinued before I got round to picking it up.

I don't usually pay much attention to blatant rip-offs designs in the beauty world, but when nipping into my local Primark for a black tank top, I saw their take on the Backtalk palette (the Double Take eye and face palette), and I just had to try it out...

Lets Make some Magic, with Revolution x Carmi...

Revolution's Kiss Of Fire eye & cheek palette made in collaboration with MUA-turned-Youtuber Carmi MUA, was the product that turned me on to the brand; I had three palettes from I  ❤️ Makeup [now I ❤️ Revolution] and liked them, but I didn't even realize that the brand was an off-shoot of Revolution [formally Makeup Revolution] until  I saw Trend Mood's post announcing the release of Kiss Of Fire and started looking into the brand...

Anyway, back to today's topic; Carmi's Kiss Of Fire palette is my favourite from the brand; Carmi's favourite shade's are my favourites and he didn't waste space with the same old boring neutral tones that pop up over and over in the brand's other palettes, so I'm expecting big things from Make Magic.

Does it live up to my expectations?
