Purrfect?: reviewing Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk | 22 edp, by Kayali.

 Sweet. Decadent. Creamy.

Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk | 22 Eau de Parfum is a triple-dose caramel fragrance, purr-fect for gourmand lovers!

"This perfume started as an April Fool's joke, but the love we got from the community was so real, we knew we had to bring it to life! Our community has always been at the heart of everything we do, and Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk | 22 is the perfect example of that. Inspired by my love for caramel, I wanted to create the ultimate gourmand fragrance with salted caramel, caramel milk and caramel santal that felt rich, creamy, comforting and completely addictive," says Mona Kattan, Founder & CEO, KAYALI.

"When Mona first came to us with the vision for Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk, the concept was already vivid and full of character. Her vision was clear: a caramel scent that felt rich, creamy, and truly addictive, yet wearable and effortlessly layerable every day," says Clement Gavarry, Principal Perfumer at dsm-firmenich.

Forget the wishlist.

Forget the one-out-one-in rule.

The 2025 April Fool's joke perfume has been the surprise inspiration for the new Kayali fragrance release, so I preordered a bottle earlier this month...

I can't put it into very descriptive words, but the difference between  the  milk and the later cream accord is very clear in Boujee Kitty - lighter,  calmer & cooler. Perfect for blending with the caramel, as it stops it from becoming too rich & heavy and taking over everything else. The salted caramel is noticeably salty, which I really enjoy as it adds grit to the sweetness from the added caramel, helping anchor the fragrance. The smooth coconut whispers up from the heart of Boujee Kitty, ìn delicate waves.

As the coconut becomes more apparant, it's joined by soft peach for a gentle fuzzyness - sometimes I can pick up on the odd jolt of pineapple too, some
times not.  I can't quite pinpoint any individual floral notes present, just the impression of a white floral blend as a backdrop - possibly jasmine and tuberose?  A marshmallow drizzled with creamy white chocolate mingles nicely with everything.

The vanilla beans [vanilla caviar] and caramel santal [caramel & sandalwood] adds a slightly earthy feel to the emerging vanilla & rich cream, which gives Boujee Kitty a weighted base, similar to the effect of the salt in thelingering salted caramel.

The longevity and projection isn't the best from Kayali, but for a sweet & light fragrance it is excellent; Boujee Kitty wears for around nine hours on me, with a softer side of moderate projection. When sprayed onto clothes it'll be detectable for days.

Officially listed scent notes: salted caramel, caramel milk, coconut, peach, pineapple, white chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla caviar, caramel santal, cream and soft musk.

Boujee Kitty has very quickly become one of my favourite Kayali fragrances - fluffy, playful, and sweet, yet it also has a calm and adult vibe to it. Other people compliment me when I'm wearing it, so it's a widely appealing fragrance, and i think it is seasonless too.
