Speedy review... Eyeball Highlighter in Eye See You, by I 💗 Revolution.

Today I'm posting my final speedy review on a Revolution Halloween 2019 makeup product. I've already looked at two of the three new Halloween themed highlighters by I💗 Revolution, so today I'm looking at the third one...

Speedy review... Eyeball Highlighter in Eye Scream, by I 💗 Revolution.

Welcome  to part II of speedy reviews on the three new Halloween themed highlighters by I💗 Revolution.

I was curious to find out how the formula compares to Revolution's skull Halloween highlighters of previous years, so I've been spending the past few weeks trying them all out, and now want to share my thoughts on them one by one...

Speedy review... Eyeball Highlighter in Terrif-eye, by I 💗 Revolution.

I've just decluttered a load of highlighters, but when I saw the palettes for the three Halloween 2019 highlighters,  I fell down the rabbit hole again.

This year Revolution have passed the Halloween highlighter reins over to their sister brand I 💗 Revolution, so I'm curious to find out how the formula compares to Revolution's skull ones of previous years...

Speedy review... Haunted House eyeshadow palette, by Revolution.

I've bought Revolution's Halloween eyeshadow palettes for the past two years,  when they get reduced for clearance in November (there had been no point reviewing them after Halloween) and didn't like them; the shadows were dry and under pigmented and I gave them to my younger nieces to play dress-up with.

This year they have a glitter palette, two Chocolate Bar palettes and two tin ones - and my inner horror-loving teen needed one of them, solely based on the packaging and shade names. As the tin packaging is new for this year, I picked one of them in the hope that the new packaging means that they have new formulas...

Is the Revolution Haunted Lights highlighter a trick or a treat?

I've outlined the tough things that have gone on in my life over the past year before [here and here]; one of the things that these stresses have caused is me relapsing with nail biting, so no China Glaze or indie Halloween reviews this year - it's a real shame that I'm struggling to break the habit, as there are loads of cool collections this year.

However Revolution have come up trumps with some cool Halloween cosmetic items, including the item that I wanted to get last year, but it sold out before I could get it... Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Haunted Lights highlighter.

NOTD?: Crown For Whatever, by China Glaze...

Spoiler alert; this polish is frustrating, and is why my reviews for the Happily Never After collection are late this year; all the way through the reviews, I keep pausing to try this one again.

I didn't want it to come to this, but I'm going to be completing my Halloween polish reviews with a whimper this year, as today's spotlight polish doesn't agree with me. I watched a few YouTube vloggers swatching this polish and it looked great on them, so I couldn't wait for the UK release of the collection to get my own bottle, but now I've concluded that you need to be a gifted manicurist to get it to work - so I'm out.

Lets find out what the nature of the problem with Crown For Whatever is...

NOTD: Life's Grimm, by China Glaze...

Last time I showed you my favourite polish from the Halloween 2017 Happily Never After collection by China Glaze, but now I want to show you what seems to be their favourite Halloween polish recipe - green microglitter, in a murky base.

Life's Grimm is the forth time that China Glaze have turned to this combination for one of their Halloween ranges, so I thought  it'd be good to get a comparison to the previous polishes in to today's review.

So is Life's Grimm a good polish, and is it a dupe to anything else?

NOTD: Sin-derella by China Glaze...

Welcome back to the second half of my breakdown of reviews for the new polishes from the Halloween 2017 Happily Never After collection by China Glaze.

Today I'm starting Halloween month by spotlighting my top pick from the collection, and if you watch any of the vloggers, read nail blogs or visit beauty chatrooms, then you'll probably guess what's coming, as today's pick seems to be everyone's favourite...

Yep; today is Sin-derella's time to shine for us all.

NOTD: Queen, Please! by China Glaze...

Sorry for the break in my China Glaze Halloween 2017 breakdown, but I wanted to get the Kylie Cosmetics one up before the featured product sold out. But I'm now back on track...

Okay; we've done a review for the glitter topper in the Happily Never After collection, but what if you don't like wearing glitter on your nails since it's a bit of a pain to remove? Don't worry; China Glaze has you covered, by including a shimmer topper in this year's line-up. Take a bow Queen, Please...

NOTD: Do You, Boo! by China Glaze...

Do You, Boo! is one of the six new shades in the 2017 Halloween collection 'Happily Never After', and it is the only glitter topper on offer this year (the other topper on offer in this collection is a shimmer one).

As we've started this year's breakdown of reviews for the China Glaze Halloween collection by focusing on the basic creme shade, I thought that I'd follow with reviews for the two toppers meant to be paired with it.
We'll be looking at the shimmer topper next, but for now Do You, Boo! is taking it's turn under the spotlight...

NOTD: Lookin' Gore-geous by China Glaze...

It's time to go through the six new polishes in the Halloween 2017 nail polish collection (Happily Never After) by China Glaze, and I'm going to start by focusing on Lookin' Gore-geous.
I admit that this shade does look pretty boring next to the other polishes in the Happily Never After collection, but there are two toppers in the line-up [a glitter one & a shimmer one] which we'll be looking at next and this shade is perfect under them both.

Forget the fairy dust; the China Glaze Halloween 2017 nail polish collection...

China Glaze Happily Never After 2017 Nail Polish CollectionForget princesses, prince charming, fairies and love songs... this year China Glaze is getting wicked.
Evil queens, dragons, poison and dark magic is this years theme; the 2017 Halloween Nail Polish Collection takes you to a place where fairytale dreams are broken, where villains always win and happily ever after is non-existent.
Welcome to Happily Never After..

First look; Happily Never After nail polish collection for Halloween 2017, by China Glaze...

Blogger Jen (aka JediWife) went to this year's Cosmoprof beauty convention and scored a photo of a swatch wheel for this year's Halloween collection, so we can all find out if China Glaze will be disappointing us with another collection of repromotes, or delighting us with new shades.

Lets not mess around, and jump straight into the good stuff...

The Prowl: Halloween 2016 collection by China Glaze...

I'd started to worry that China Glaze wouldn't be releasing a nail polish collection is year, as photos and swatches usually begin circulating for it mid-summer, but we've had to wait til now for our first glimpse at the 2016 collection.

As usual it's the folks over at ChicProfile who have gotten the first look at the latest offerings. But the question is was the wait worth it, or has the time come for me to stop being excited over China Glaze's Halloween collections?

NOTD: Haddonfield by Pretty Serious...

Pretty Serious is an Australian Indie polish brand, and I think that the three-piece Killer Fangirls collection was introduced in Halloween 2013.
Pretty Serious wanted to separate themselves from larger polish companies by making their various holiday collections available for people to buy for longer, and as this particular collection was inspired by the founder's (Kaz) love of horror movies and has proved so popular with customers, it's still in production today .and may even be extended in the future.

Today I'm finishing this collection by showing the most Halloweeny polish in it. Fitting because this polish was inspired by the film Halloween, and is named after the hometown of everyone's favourite homicidal stalker; Michael Myers...

NOTD: Elm Street by Pretty Serious...

Pretty Serious is an Australian Indie polish brand, and I think that the three-piece Killer Fangirls collection was introduced for Halloween 2013.
Pretty Serious wanted to separate themselves from larger polish companies by making their various holiday collections available for people to buy for longer, and as this particular collection was inspired by the founder's (Kaz) love of horror movies and has proved so popular with customers, it's still in production today, and Kaz has hinted that the collection may be expanded one day.
I started this collection review with the shade that I was most keen to try, so thought today I'd do the opposite and focus on the polish I wasn't that fussed about and only bought because the completest in me wanted to have the full set. Don't get me wrong the polish fits the film it represents very well as it reminds me of Freddy Krueger's burns and Stripy jumper, but me and bar glitter do not get along.

Anyway let's take a trip down Elm Street...

NOTD: Crystal Lake by Pretty Serious...

Pretty Serious is an Australian Indie polish brand, and I think that the three-piece Killer Fangirls collection was introduced in Halloween 2013.

Pretty Serious wanted to separate themselves from larger polish companies by making their various holiday collections available for people to buy for longer, and as this particular collection was inspired by the founder's (Kaz) love of horror movies and has proved so popular with customers, it's still in production today.

Now that I've gotten the introduction out of the way, let's jump into the reason you're here - that lovely sparkly blue polish that was the first ever Pretty Serious polish to go into my shopping basket. Today we're going to Crystal Lake, inspired by Friday 13th...

The Bargain Hunter: Silver-toned pumpkin necklace, on a infinity-style chain...

As it's Halloween month there is no better time to share one of my recent finds; a infinity necklace, which has a pumpkin pendant on.

NOTD: Something's Brewing by China Glaze [with Earl Gray by Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure]...

I thought that I'd save the most Halloweeny polish in the Ghouls Night Out collection for my final post on China Glaze's Halloween 2015 range...

NOTD: Cackle If You Want To by China Glaze [with Superstition by Illamasqua]

So far the polishes I've shown you from China Glaze's Ghouls Night Out Halloween collection have been pretty, but they've not exactly screamed "Halloween is coming". But today I want to share the one that I think is the best of both world's; you can make wonderful spooky Mani combos with this, and (as my photos show) it is easy to use day-to-day the rest of the year round too.
