NOTD: Filthy Gorgeous London in Rock Star...

Filthy Gorgeous London 3-free nail polish in the shade Rock Star is a light green jelly, that is full of holographic, green and scattered gold microglitter. I first thought of as a polish for layering, but there are so many microglitter pieces that the polish becomes almost-fully opaque with just two coats.

Despite the heavy amounts of glitter this polish I was impressed with the fast drying time, and and I find that it wears as well as the big named polish brands I've tried. Being a glitter bomb it does take a little bit more effort to remove, but it seems easier then many of my other glitter-heavy polishes.

As usual: Using my usual base and top coat, this polish will last me anywhere between two to four days with only minimal wear. But as I'm a self powered wheelchair user I'm tough on my hands and am always catching my nails, so I can't really speak for how long lasting the formula is overall.

Sixth Grave on the Edge (Charley Davidson #6) by Darynda Jones...

Sometimes I wrestle my demons. Sometimes we just snuggle.

  —  bumper sticker

☠/
Most girls might think twice before getting engaged to someone like Reyes Farrow—but Charley Davidson is not most girls. She’s a paranormal private eye and grim reaper-in-training who’s known to be a bit of a hell-raiser, especially after a few shots of caffeine.

Her beloved Reyes may be the only begotten son of evil, but he’s dark and sultry and deeply sexy and everything Charley could hope for. Really. But when the FBI file on Reyes’s childhood happens to land in her lap, she can’t help herself: She opens it...and then the real fun begins.

First, Charley finds a naked corpse riding shotgun in her car. Then, a man loses his soul in a card game. Throw in a Deaf boy who sees dead people, a woman running from mobsters, and a very suspicious Reyes, and things can’t get any worse for Charley. Unless, of course, the Twelve Beasts of Hell are unleashed..

Feeling Blue: Crazy Color semi-permanent hair dye in Capri Blue (44) and Bubblegum Blue (63) by Renbow...

I tried to be clever here by adding some lighter Bubblegum Blue sections in with the darker/brighter Capri Blue I used over most of my hair, mainly so I could test and review two shades at once, but also because I didn't trust using the pastel shade alone after my experience using my other pastel shade Candy Floss.

Using freshly shampooed and towel dried hair I first applied the Capri Blue Shade to my hair and massaged it in, leaving a few random sections of blonde hair uncovered. I then went back over my hair and carefully covered the loose blonde sections in the Bubblegum Blue Shade. I decided to leave the mixture in my hair for longer then I did the last two times that I used Crazy Color dyes to let it all soak in properly, so I waited two hours before rinsing the dye from my hair [only using water]...
