Ready to embrace the unexpected? Meet Perfect Nonsense Bamboozie Cocktail Eau de Parfum - a scent collision that defies all fragrance norms.
This floral citrus mix perfectly blends gin’s zesty juniper and citrus energy with bamboo’s calm and earthy vibe for a sparkling cocktail that’ll bamboozle all your senses.
Raise your glass to this charming cocktail… it’s serving scents that makes no sense yet arouse every sense, straight up… and we’re here for it!
Cheers!
After fragrance sellouts, order mixups and continued problems with my sense of smell, I'm finally ready to get back into testing Avon's new Perfect Nonsense fragrance trio.
Today I'm focusing on the fragrance which I thought sounded the most interesting & complex, and would be my favourite out of the bunch, based on reading the scent notes. Take a bow Bamboozie Cocktail 🍸
Did I guess right?
Bamboozie Cocktail opens with a fresh & sharp jolt of energy, thanks to a mild but distinct gin accord. I really wish it lasted longer, but it is soon taken over by bergamot, jasmine and a sweet lemon. I'd say that the star of bamboozle Cocktail is the white tea, because on me it is easier to seperate than the bamboo - don't get me wrong because the bamboo is definitely there, in fact when everything else has dried down, I can still pick on the occasional wafts of jasmine and the bamboo, so it is there and it is longwearing.
Now for the not so nice part; the longevity and projection is what I'd call "okay for the price", but it's certainly nothing great. It only wears for about 4/5 hours and it is quiet & becomes closer to the skin pretty quickly.
Officially listed scent notes: Bergamot Essence, Bamboo Sap Accord, Lemon Essence, Gin Smell-The-Taste™, White Tea Accord, Jasmine Sambac Absolute, Mate Absolute, Ambrox® Super, Patchouli Essence, Muscenone® Delta.Needless to say that this is not something I'm going to repurchase.
Bamboozie Cocktail can be bought from the Avon website, Avon catalogues, Amazon, eBay, and some Superdrug stores also stock it.
