"Electrify your fantasy. Capture the brightness of a shining star who owns the stage"
Electric Fantasy lives up to it's name & inspiration immediately; the mix of passion fruit, mandarin and pink pepper is a energetic freshly sweet blend. I don't detect the lychee particularly, but I some other get tart berries and/or sour cherry. The mix of fresh, sweet and sour really does feel electric - it gives me a sizzling & snappy vibe.
The peony is the strongest floral note on me, closly followed by what seems to be freesia. The orange blossom is also easy to detect, as is the classic powdered effect common with white florals used in fragrance like jasmine and heliotrope. The fruity notes are long wearing and push the floral notes largely into the background.
The base note heats up the fragrance, by adding a undertone of dirty spiciness to Electric Fantasy. The lingering passion fruit combines with the benzoin and ambrox for a musky sweetness, which seems slightly smoked due to the vetiver.
Official scent notes: Pink Pepper, Passion Fruit, Mandarin, Lychee, Heliotrope, Jasmine Petals, Orange Blossom, Peony, Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Benzoin and Ambrox.
Electric Fantasy has an excellent longevity and aura if it had been a edp, but for a edt it is outstanding - much better for the other Fantasy edt flankers (except for Fantasy Sheer, which it is equal to), and many of the Britney Spears brand edp formulations.
With an illuminating vibe, this vibrant Oriental floral limited-edition fragrance is designed for the woman who lights up any room. Embody Britney’s playful spirit and super-charged, radiant energy to show your inner glow.
When I got hold of Fantasy Sheer, I did immediately think that it was more suited to a spring/summer release... well now that a new Fantasy Flanker has unexpectedly dropped in Superdrug, I can see that Fantasy Sheer was most likely was intended for either Spring 2021 or Spring 2022, but ongoing Covid madness effecting all points of the marketing, manufacturing, delivery & retail business industries, has caused crossed wires somewhere.
Anyway; one spray of Electric Fantasy and I was intrigued enough to buy a bottle (the fact that you save 30% if you have a Family & Friends discount card doesn't hurt), so here's to hoping that it wasn't just a passing fancy for me & that Electric Fantasy can hold it's own against Fantasy Sheer...

In summary; Electric Fantasy is very good and is well worth checking out if you want a energetic fragrance for the new season, even if you aren't particularly fond of Fantasy; it is different enough from the fragrance & feel of the original Fantasy to have been a new pillar fragrance, rather than another Fantasy flanker... Electric Presence, Electric Vibes, or something like that.
At the time of beginning my notes for this fragrance; I think that Electric Fantasy is exclusive to Superdrug, and the stores and site are currently only offering 30ml bottles. I enjoy the fragrance enough that I'll be purchasing a larger bottle, when one hopefully becomes available.
