No passport required... [reviewing Bombshell London edp, by Victoria's Secret]

Enchanted by the botanical charm of London, this floral fragrance features luminous garden lace peony at its heart.

It looks like Bombshell is going on a international tour; in addition to Bombshell London, another three LE Bombshell flankers [Bombshell Lagos, Bombshell Bogota & Bombshell Tokyo] named after capital cities in countries where Victoria's Secret is sold.

I don't know if other countries are going to have their own perfume editions in the foreseeable future, or even if they'll ever be available to buy in other countries outside of their own [Bombshell Bogota in particular appeals to me], but as of right now, we can only buy Bombshell London in the UK.

The rose is the most intensive floral note in Bombshell London and is very fresh instead of powdery & sweet
, which gives the fragrance clean/watery and 'green' overtone. The peony adds subtle peppery & sweeter undertones, providing some depth to the fragrance. The blackcurrant is also very clear and juicy and adds to the fresh and watery feel, as well as adding a clean & sharp sweetness.

There also seems to be something like lotus, some tea leaf and a teensy squeeze of sweet citrus here too, to boost the strength of the key notes, but subtle enough not to take away from them and compete for attention.

Bombshell London is exactly like the inspiration; it reminds me of walking through a fancy country estate garden after it has been raining. Such a wonderful representation of the uk - just beautifully done. Bombshell London has such authentic key note accords, that I really enjoy that the other scent notes are kept very subtle to keep the fragrance uncluttered and clean.

Official listed key scent notes: blackcurrant, English rose and peony.

The longevity and sillage for this fragrance is much better than it has been for the brand's other spring or summer releases that I've tried; I'll apply this is the morning, and can still smell it 7/8 hours later. The aura is moderate for most of the wear.

I'm excited because Bombshell London is extremely similar to Fleur Fatale - a perfume that I really enjoyed scent-wise but found had awful longevity & a poor aura, so I highly recommend checking this out. I think that Bombshell London is another Bombshell flanker tbat doesn't strike me as being similar to the original Bombshell and I actually prefer it much more.

Bombshell London is only available in a 50ml bottle for £59.

The store closest to me [the Trafford Centre] has a small number in stock. You can also order it online
