Let your beauty transform and evolve as you move with the fruity and floral perfume of Eve Become Eau de Parfum. Discover the one-of-a-kind fragrance that reinvents itself with you...
Like a beautiful butterfly, Eve Become Eau de Parfum transforms, changes and develops throughout the day. At her heart lies the unique Butterfly Blossom chord, created from notes of jasmine, gardenia and an innovative musk molecule [this accord is exclusive to Avon]. Thanks to the unique composition, the fragrance transforms from joyful to sensual, providing a different experience every time you feel it.
The Eve Discovery range has become something that I look forward to new launches from and the latest release is especially exciting to me, because [based on the official listed scent notes] it sounds like a bolder edition of the Eve Privè edp - a very well-made & expensive seeming release from the line. Not only that, but Avon have launched a new & exclusive scent accord for it and as I really enjoy the other new scent accord they'd created [the white oud in Far Away Splendoria], my hopes for this are high.
Has my run of good luck with Avon fragrances finally ended, or are we still racing together?
This is similar to a few other fragrances that I've reviewed recently, when it comes to 'red' or 'pink' apple'; whilst I think that the scent is juicy & very authentic, imo it is actually the fresh & slightly sharp scent of green apple, not the sweeter & softer scent I'll typically experience with red or pink apples - there is a mild sweetness here, but it's mainly from the gentle peach and sweet lemon. I'm quite sure that there is a drop of orange in the mix too.
The gardenia, jasmine & musk blend that makes up the fantasy butterfly orchid, are the stars of the uncluttered floral heart of this fragrance. I get the overall impression of the floral heart of Eve Truth here, so I'm guessing that there is a sprinkling of freesia and peony in the background.
I really the sense of cleanliness that the mix of ambrox & cedar adds to the classic sandalwood, vanilla and musk base ‐ its prevents the warmth and sweetness from becoming too strong, as they combine with the florals and lingering fruit.
Official key scent notes: red apple, peach, citruses, butterfly blossom accord, ambrox, cedar and warm sandalwood.
As I'd expect from a fragrance in the Eve Discovery line, the aura & longevity isn't anything as amazing as a release from their Far Away line tends to be; the aura is quiet yet noticeable = around arm's length for the first couple of hours, before falling closer to the skin. You get around 6 hours wear on average.
Eve Become is another winner from Avon for me - I'd best describe it as being like if Eve Truth & Eve Privè had a baby, so it's nothing original or unexpected in all honesty, however it's still lovely and very easy to wear over the spring and summer months and is really worth picking up a bottle if you like apple, gardenia and/or jasmine.
Random thought of the day; I can't find any info on if Eva Mendes is still involved with the Eve fragrance line in any capacity, I wonder what is happening behind the scenes?
