Rare gives me the ginger & the pepper develop straight away, which prevents the caramel from being overtly sweet and 'girly/young'. As the caramel fades, the cocoa & creamy vanilla collide with the ginger and earthy pistachio.
There seems to be indistinct white florals in the background - maybe a trace of a blend similar to jasmine and orange blossom? As the ginger fades, musky sandalwood and what seems like patchouli becomes more noticeable on me. The florals turn it to powder as the pistachio & tonka combine, whilst the lingering vanilla warms everything up as the fragrance becomes a skin-scent.
I'd say that I get around five/six hours for the longevity, with a moderate projection that becomes softer after two/three hours. Not particularly impressive, but that's after using mostly empty testers, so don't take my word as gospel.
Officially listed scent notes: Caramel, Pink Pepper, Pistachios, Vanilla, Nigerian Ginger, Cocoa, Sandalwood, Musk and Tonka Bean.
I have been enjoying this fragrance when I get to try it, but I don't feel the need to purchase it right away - mainly because the longevity doesn't wow me, plus I d think that this fragrance is fairly similar to Avon's Choco Tuberose EDP which I already own and enjoy. I do find the spices in here to be more noticeable, as well as the pistachio being a great addition. I will most likely be picking this up in the not- to-distant future, so there will likely be a proper review further down the line.
