In The Nice Garden... [reviewing Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale | 31 edp, by Kayali]

Feel like the diamond that you are with our warm floral masterpiece...

"My inspiration for KAYALI has always been to make people feel like royalty every time they wear our fragrances. With Fleur Majesty Rose Royale | 31, I wanted to create a warm floral scent that’s both strong and soft—a fragrance that makes you feel elegant, confident, and effortlessly unforgettable. To bring this scent story to life, I chose the rose as the hero note as it is often called the “Queen of Flowers” and presents such a romantic and timeless facet to the fragrance. We layered in the juicy green pear and sweet peach, along with delicate pink peony, violet wood, and purple musk, to create a sensual yet powerful scent that lingers beautifully everywhere you go!" - Mona Kattan

This enchanting gem is a harmonious fusion, blending juicy pear, sweet peach and sensual rose with pink peony, violet wood and purple musk. Warm, floral and endlessly romantic, it’s the perfect scent for every season.

Treat yourself today and add this crowning jewel to your Kayali collection.

I've fallen behind with the Kayali launches and when checking out the newer releases just before spring, this is the one that stood out to me the most - because of the listed key scent notes, as well as the pretty bottle shades. Some fragrance snobs dismiss the mass appealing fruity/floral family as being common and most often unoriginal, but I think that they are ultra wearable and very pleasant to other people - something you to consider if you spend alot of time in close contact with other people.

My choice & purchase where made a few months ago, so now it's time to check in and see if I still stand by my unital pick, or if I've rushed into a purchase again...

That jolt of fresh & sweet is apparent from the first spritz, with that sense of fizz from the energy in it - something that I find very moreish. The pear is a star and very longwearing, followed pretty closely by the peach. A teensy let-down for me is that the mandarin isn't stronger - I can pick it out, I just want a bit more of the juiciness from it.

Rose; what many people describe as 'old lady', I think is timeless and elegant. I guess I'm old now... Anyway the rose is actually quite fresh and a touch watery on me, rather than having a powdery undertone that is more usual in fragrances. Peony is another one of the standout notes to me, which I personally find kinda unique as it isn't usually very strong on me.  Violet wood sorrel doesn't have any clear scent to it, but I get plenty of traditional violet scent here, layered over what seems to be cedarwood, so I figure that the 'violet wood' here is a fantasy blend. The magnolia is the softest listed floral note in Fleur Majesty - it adds a very pretty sense of smooth creaminess to the stronger florals.  The fruity notes are all longwearing and come & go throughout the weartime of Fleur Majesty, but the clearest is the lingering pear - it is almost like dew speckling the flower petals in a country garden.

The base is warm and ambery sweet, with added sandalwood and praline. Traces of rose, violet & pear also come and go as the fragrance gradually becomes closer to the skin.

Officially listed scent notes; Mandarin, Orange, Juicy Pear, Sweet Peach, Magnolia, White Peony, Rose Centifolia, Violet Wood, Vetiver, KAYALI Signature Accord, Ambrox® Super, Vanilla, Praline, Musk.

For a blend with a very fruity backbone, the longevity and projection are very good; it wears around 8/9 hours on my skin and traces remain on fabric for over 24 hours, with the projection levels being on the softer side of moderate.

Once again Kayali has hit it out of the park - I adore Fleur Majesty for the longevity, balance of notes, such an easy‐to-wear option. I adore Kayali fragrances because I know I'll get what notes they promise, with the key notes being exactly what they list them as being, so it's easy to pick what to try next. A very user friendly brand.

Fleur Majesty comes in 10ml [£25], 50ml [£79] & 100ml bottles [£107].
