Third time's the charm? [reviewing Cosmic Intense edp, by Kylie Jenner]

creamier, warmer, and just as addictive - experience the bold evolution of our signature fragrance.
Cosmic kylie jenner intense is a bold, ambery gourmand evolution of the original cosmic. with heightened vanilla notes and decadent benzoin, it's creamier, warmer, and just as addictive. housed in a fiery red sculptural bottle to reflect its intensity, this fragrance leaves a lasting and unforgettable impression.

🚨 The third cosmic fragrance is here; it's also the third time that I was taken by surprise by the launch of a cosmic perfume - I've not been keeping up with new fragrance releases very well for a good few years now.

Anyway, back to the topic; I really enjoy the previous cosmic fragrances, so I had to track this new edition down ASAP...

here's hoping that it's even half as good as I'm expecting/hoping 🤞

What it feels like for a girl [reviewing Tommy Girl edt, by Tommy Hilfiger]

"Tommy girl was created for the girl in all of us"

The original and iconic Tommy Girl fragrance encourages you to take everything in and shape each day and every moment for the better.

Tommy Girl Eau de Toilette is an effervescent floral scent, capturing the freedom and optimism of a road trip in America. American treasures, opening with an invigorating burst of all-natural spearmint and bergamot. At the heart, a bouquet of jasmine and rose create the feeling of pure happiness. The scent finally reveals sensual accord of creamy sandalwood, warm amber, and musk.

Tommy Girl embraces you with unfiltered love and empowerment.

A little while ago I was trying to remember my first 'proper' fragrances and in narrowing down the list in my head, I definitely remember that Tommy Girl as being the first one that I received as a gift [Christmas 1996 - launch year]. However I was still into So..? body sprays and The Body Shop mists back then, so I don't think I wore Tommy Girl on my skin much (it probably became a air freshener tbĥ). I've long since muddled up my scent memories of it with another teenage Christmas gift [Ralph Lauren's Ralph] that I received when I was a bit older and starting to appreciate the world of fragrance more.

When I went to Boots at the start of the year, I saw a reduced gift set of Tommy Girl dumped on a random shelf and impulsively bought it, because I'm just really curious about it.

So let's go back to the past...

Speedy Review: Pink Sugar Berry Blast edt, by Aquolina.

The original note of Pink Sugar is enhanced by a boost of blueberries and blackberries, taking on an interesting sugary connotation...

A sweet and sugary fragrance, inspired by the sweetness and softness of cotton candy. A delightful world accented by delicate sweet touches reminiscent of the joy and fun of an evening at a fair.

A unique olfactory experience intertwining fantasy and reality.

I'm a big fan of Aquolina's Pink Sugar and have lost count of the number of bottles I've gotten through during the last couple of decades. I'd just finished yet another bottle and was looking around online for the best offers on a new one, which is how I discovered this version; the promise of Pink Sugar, with an added blast of berries, cedar, moss and cherry [Pink Sugar contains 'red berries', but I don't pick up on anything close to cherry]. How can that be anything other than a winner?

I've also tried a couple of the flankers too over the years, which have also been nice,so I thought that a blind buy would be a safe bet. Will the year be starting with a bang?
