Aloha From OPI is from spring 2015's Hawaii collection, and whilst I wanted to try it as soon as I first saw swatches for it, I was put of as other customer reviews for the formula haven't been the greatest. But after finding a bottle for £3.99 in TK Maxx I've decided to risk getting a dud, and finally give it a go.
I already know that it looks good, but how does the formula perform?
I love watching EmilyNoel83 on YouTube as her preferences in makeup seem largely similar to my own, and her thoughts on various products strike me as being honest. Today's review will be focused on a video she recently did where she was reviewing cheaper makeup palettes [Surprisingly good palette's - under $10!]; I've been wanting to try some new eyeshadows out as I've become bored with my smallish selection of products, so I thought I'd give one of the eyeshadow palettes she found to be pretty good a whirl.
She did think another City Color palette was a bit better in comparison to what I have to show you and I also found the shades in her top-pick palette [Figtastic] more appealing overall, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a brand I've never tried before and I couldn't find it for under a tenner on a UK site (Amazon do sell it. £8.74 & £4.85 post). But since I love the look of the shades with peach and burgundy tones in them in the Harvest Moon palette too, and found it easily at an affordable price [£5.99 with free post on Amazon UK], I decided to give it a go and see what I thought of it...

The short blerb on the Pretty Serious site's product page says it all about their new polish - Breathless was created to the founder's friend's likes and dislike's in polish, and is limited to 300 bottles because the polish batch was made as a wedding gift for the bride and her wedding party. When it's gone it's gone, so if you like what you see here it don't hang around umming and ahhing too long.
That being said, lets get to reviewing and swatching this special shade from my latest Pretty Serious order, and find out if it's a springtime wonder or a April downpour...

After buying a bottle of the Killer Queen 2015 flanker perfume [Spring Reign, see previous review], I then decided to look for a bottle of the 2014 flanker Oh So Sheer, to see which one I prefer. I saw a 30ml bottle on a eBay auction for £5 and bidded up to the grand heights of £7 on it. No one else bidded, so now I have another springtime appropriate perfume to review for the blog.
Does Oh So Sheer improve on the original Killer Queen, or is it better best forgotten?
