Buy China Glaze Lite Brites polishes from a UK retail site today...

I'll keep this post short and sweet...
I've been keeping an eye open for a UK release for the China Glaze Lite Brites nail polish collection, and found a site where you can buy all of the individual polishes AND four of the sets today...

Spring Into Action II: Oh So Sheer edp by Katy Perry..

After buying a bottle of the Killer Queen 2015 flanker perfume [Spring Reign, see previous review], I then decided to look for a bottle of the 2014 flanker Oh So Sheer, to see which one I prefer. I saw a 30ml bottle on a eBay auction for £5 and bidded up to the grand heights of £7 on it. No one else bidded, so now I have another springtime appropriate perfume to review for the blog.

Does Oh So Sheer improve on the original Killer Queen, or is it better best forgotten?

Spring into action: Spring Reign edp by Katy Perry...

Spring Reign was the 2015 limited edition flanker for the Coty/Katy Perry perfume Killer Queen. I wanted to try as I was frustrated by how Killer Queen showed promise but didn't quite deliver it, so I wanted to see if Spring Reign could pull it off. I looked for Spring Reign on both the high street and online [Amazon, eBay], but couldn't find it in any stores or the sites I trust. I did forgot about it as the fragrance releases kept on coming through the year, so maybe it started out as an 'exclusive' to one store and gradually filtered through to others?
Anyway; Spring Reign is now readily available to buy from sites like eBay and Amazon. I would have preferred to be able to find it on the high street, so I could test it before committing to buy it, but it was cheap enough (£14 for 100ml) that I decided to risk it and make a blind buy.

Has Spring Reign pulled of the more grown-up-and-confident-but-still-fun-and-flirty type vibe I'd been looking for with Killer Queen, Royal Revolution and Mad Potion, but failed to find? Or have I poured my money away on another lackluster effort?

From burlesque show to fashion runway, magazine cover to Internet video, fashion icon and “burlesque superheroine” (Vanity Fair) Dita Von Teese has undergone more strokes of red lipstick, bursts of hair spray, boxes of blue-black hair dye and pats of powder in a month than a drag queen could dream of in a lifetime. Another glimpse at Lite Brites; Summer 2016 nail polish collection by China Glaze...

Last month I found a not-very-good-quality promo photo of the new nail polish collection from China Glaze and posted it.
That post has been popular, so I just wanted post post some better bottle pictures now that I've found some, to help people decide if this collection is worth looking into buying...

NOTD: Stir-Fried Eggplant by OPI...

Canadian store Winners sell MOPI (Mystery OPI) duo packs which contain 'exclusive to them' polish shades; these are in reality overstock of existing OPI shades, if you were wondering which collection a shade name which is followed by a triple digit number originates from.

Some of these renamed polishes have been turning up on eBay and Amazon, and I want us to take a closer look at one today; Stir-Fried Eggplant is actually Nicole by OPI's Smile for the Glam-era - not a dupe, but the same actual polish rebottled and renamed. So, of course, if you own that shade then you definitely don't need this, but if you're someone who liked the look of Smile for the Glam-era but didn't want to pour money into the Kardashian machine, here's your new chance to own the polish.

I've actually had two other renamed-Kardashian-Kolor-NOPI polishes (renamed as Cream In My Coffee and Girl Color) and planned to write reviews on those too, however the formulas on both of them was so bad [watery, never became opaque & didn't level] that I didn't bother taking photos, and ended up throwing the polishes out.

Will Stir Fried Eggplant fare any better, or have I just wasted more money?
