Getting Cheeky; reviewing the Blush Duo Compact in 01 [Tou Tou/Strawberry Cheeks], by Natasha Denona.

Finely milled, non-oily and intensely pigmented, these blushes are perfect for all skin types.

The soft and silky texture of this blush gives a natural and bright look to the skin’s complexion. Natasha Denona Blush Duo Palette provides a dominant colour (right side) and a subtler color (left side) for blending and softening edges. They come in two different textures, matte and iridescent.

I'm not into layering blush; I'm a simple 'swipe on one shade & go' girl. So how well do the two shades wear on their own?

Toutou is a soft apricot shade of blush, that has a gentle iridescent finish to it.

Strawberry Cheeks is a shade of light pink, and has a matte finish. 

The iridescent formula is so delicate that it looks silky & satin on my skin, as the sheen is gentle and shimmer-free. The formula applies faultlessly and wears excellently on me; no streaks and no shimmer,  one sweep colour, no clinging to dry patches of skin,  and it wears 12+ hours without fading.

The mate formula is also so soft & silky, that it leans towards appearing satin. There's nothing for me to add here, without copying what I put for the previous shade - the application and wear is exactly the same as it is for TouTou.

The quality of these blushes are fantastic.  I know that the shade combo I've picked is not going to work for people with anything but fair skin, but there are 11 compacts available in the Blush Duo line, So I think all skintones will find one or two compacts to suit them.

The pans are 7g each, so I think that the pricing here is excellent; a high quality blush can cost more for a single pan and when you double the price of lower cost/quality brands to factor in the amount you get here, then this duo wins.

Well worth the spurge.
